Resilience and Creativity

Picture a tiny room under the stairs, my first art studio, cramped with drying racks, printers, art supplies, paper and an overflow of creativity. In this confined space, the idea of selecting a name for my budding studio emerged. A tree name seemed fitting, given that my paper originates from tree pulp. It was then that the majestic Sequoia, the largest tree on Earth, came to my mind.

Giant Sequoias, with their cinnamon-colored bark and towering heights, can weather the harshest conditions, from fire and drought to snow and freezing temperatures. Some reach astonishing circumferences, standing as enduring symbols of strength and resilience. Yet, these magnificent trees are dwindling, a reflection of the fragility of our natural world.

In drawing this parallel, I express the hope that my tiny studio, "SEQUOIA HANDCRAFTED," will withstand the storms of life, flourish with passion, and persist through the ever-evolving landscape of my creative mind, much like the Sequoias on the West Coast of Canada..

The adventure has just begun, and I invite you to join me. Welcome in my stidio!
